Where/How do I get traffic to my website?  For website owners this is one of the most pressing questions that needs to get properly answered.  For those that are new to online marketing, the idea of learning how to get traffic to your website can seem downright daunting since there are numerous traffic generation methods & so many ways to improperly use these methods.  So for those marketers that are new you’re probably asking the question in this article’s headline…….Where do I start?!  Well first, let’s break traffic generation down to its most basic parts to really understand it.  You have 2 primary types of traffic, Paid traffic and Organic (free) traffic.  In the charts below, take note of some examples of both traffic types as you will want to research them a bit and eventually use several of them regularly throughout the life of your online business.

Mindset: So You Wanna Be An Overnight Success, Eh?

Wake up, grab a cup of your favorite beverage, pull up a chair and get ready to get your mind right. Yessir (or ma’am) we’re talking about mindset and getting back to the basics in this month’s issue of Internet Marketer Magazine.

So many people (myself included before I got “it” – what is “it” anyways?) chase the next big internet marketing launch for fear of being left behind. While true that online one month is equivalent to about a year in the offline world, if you have no use for the next big shiny product, what good is it going to do to buy it and have it sit on your virtual shelf collecting electronic particle dust?

Mindset is a tricky monster and what you hear here today may go against anything that intuitively feels like the comfortable thing to do. Social Media: The Basics

Social Media is a big buzz word these days but many don’t really “get it” or think it’s for the young kids. I’m here to tell you Social Media isn’t a fad, and it’s the way businesses is happening and will continue to happen from here on.
